Yang-Seok Kim, Ph.D.

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Yang-Seok Kim is the Chief Executive Officer of U2medtek, bringing extensive expertise in AI-driven healthcare innovation and clinical data analytics. He holds a Ph.D. in Life Sciences from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) and has held multiple leadership positions across South Korea's healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.


Before founding U2medtek, Dr. Kim served as the Chief Executive Officer of Bio-Age, a personalized health management company, and Danaah Data, a joint venture between Naver and Daewoong Pharmaceutical focused on medical AI solutions. He also led AI-driven drug development initiatives as the Vice President of Daewoong Pharmaceutical.


Earlier in his career, Dr. Kim was the Founder and CEO of Iztec, where he advanced machine learning-based clinical analytics and developed partnerships with hospitals and regulatory bodies, including the U.S. FDA.
